Form Meets Functionality

An introduction to my portfolio:

Here, you will find a collection of my most significant works and the inspirations that have shaped my journey in this dynamic field. Each project reflects my passion for design and often is linked to my interests and life in some way. The purpose of this  portfolio is to showcase my progression within the field of architecture

Early Inspirations

First Influences:

My architectural journey began during a school trip to Warwick Castle. Initially intended to support my history studies, this experience really helped me to find my passion for architecture. With an already strong interest in design and art, I found the castle's construction captivating, prompting me to appreciate architectural feats more deeply. Studying how the elements of the castle and survived offered me valuable insights into the evolution of architecture over time. It even made me begin to appreciate other architectural works on the way home in a way like I had never done before.

Progression of research and beginning of experimentation

I continued to progress my foray into the world of architecture by visiting many different architectural marvels as well documenting buildings in my day to day life that I found to be both interesting and inspiring. Around this time, I also began to research the various types of materials commonly seen in many works and began to experiment with their appearances and textures conducting multiple mixed media studies in order to further develop my artistic skills and my understanding of architectural components.
